Here he's playing around with the #RasterDelay and our shop Gibson Les Paul.

When the SHIFT footswitch is disengaged, the signal is not shifted. SHIFT: Amount of pitch or phase shift.shift footswitch and CV/expression input. The Raster is designed and manufactured in Detroit, USA. When used as a conventional delay, small shifts allow repeats to evolve in subtle ways. it can be pushed to extremes for inharmonically shifted delays that distort and break apart. Using a phase shifter in the feedback loop creates subtle evolving repeats, phase shifting, and barber pole flanging. Delay can be minimized to use the Raster as an old-school pitch shifter. Two reverse delay modes can be used for reverse melodies or with pitch shifting for crystal echoes. At maximum feedback settings, dirt in the feedback loop causes repeats to decay into a wash of noise. Knob responses are carefully tuned for exploration of self-oscillation and feedback on the verge of blowing up. Raster excels with short delay times and high feedback. It delivers a wide range of sounds including harmonized delays, reverse delays, chorus, arpeggios, infinite descents, self-oscillation, and continuously evolving soundscapes. So put on a good pair of headphones, or place yourself in front of a decent monitor setup, and let the shifting delay soundscapes of the Raster 2 envelope you.Raster is a digital delay with a pitch shifter integrated into the feedback loop. It delivers everything I hoped for, but also so much more. This time I dive deep into the new Red Panda Raster 2, my most anticipated pedal of the year. Good to be back, gang! This time with the final demo of the year, and I’ve been truly excited to share this one with you. And with Tap Tempo, MIDI and Expression Control, this pedal fits perfectly into any rig. Sporting a pristine true stereo digital delay engine, a switchable Shift section, that lets you add pitch-shifting, detune and frequency shifting to your delayed signal, as well as a super powerful LFO section that can be assigned to control either delay time, shift or amplitude, this pedal quickly reveals itself as a true sonic playground.Ĭlassic digital delays, pitch-shifted echoes, octave effects, cascading reverse soundscapes, chorus, phaser, tremolo, ring modulation and so much more, is all captured in this compact and clever device.

The Red Panda Raster 2 might be marketed as a delay, but it’s so much more than that. Guitar, Synthesizer and Drum Machine demo of Red Panda Labs enigmatic echo machine, the Raster 2.
